Her predecessors, both of whom enjoy successful tenures, entitled in her a profound respect for the role of the Sheriff in a commitment to serving the community integrity and dedication.
Beth Tolson's distinguished career within the Sheriff's Office is marked by her unwavering dedication, and exemplary service. Over the years, she has served in various capacities, including as a patrol officer, detective specializing in juvenile sex crimes, and lieutenant overseeing the property crimes division. Most recently, Tolson has served as a DUI and domestic violence investigator for the York County Solicitor's Office, where she demonstrated her compassion and resolve in advocating for victims of abuse.
